Experience

Isobel has worked at a senior marketing management level in a variety of IT-based companies focusing on clients based in the local and central government, transport, legal, utilities and financial services market places.

Isobel has a Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing and over 20 years’ experience working for organisations such as AT&T, Comdisco, BT, Systems Resources and ITNET. She is also a qualified and experienced Life Coach which she has found an invaluable and rewarding skill.

She brings significant practical expertise in the areas of marketing, both strategy and communications and press relations.

At ITNET Isobel was responsible for development of its Product Management Programme which involved the personal growth and mentoring of the company’s Product Management team and facilitation of regular reviews and development meetings.

She also planned and managed a full programme of press events executed on behalf of the whole organisation. This involved regular journalist interviews as well as producing articles, press releases and case studies to promote the business. In addition, Isobel was instrumental in the production of the twice-yearly presentations to City Analysts of ITNET’s financial results.

For four years prior to this she was Marketing Manager for ITNET’s Local Government Division handling all aspects of communication with the company’s Local Government clients

At Comdisco, Isobel was International Marketing Manager with responsibility for its British, French and German marketing teams promoting its disaster recovery service offerings. She managed a large team whose primary focus was on ensuring the good will of the existing customer base through research and events, as well as developing the prospect pipeline for the sales team.

Isobel has a major input to BT’s Senior Customer Relationships programme which involves considerable liaison and country wide event organisation for key clients.
