2015 Christmas charity vote result

As part of our Christmas greetings we asked our clients, associates and business partners to vote for their favourite good cause out of  RNLI (Royal National Lifeboat Institution), British Red Cross, and the Royal British Legion.

This year’s votes have been counted and it was very close with the overall winner being the British Red Cross by a single vote! We will therefore make donation to all three good causes.

Why we do it every year

In 2000, instead of buying Christmas cards, where only a small percentage of the cost goes to charity, we decided to give all of the money we would have spent on cards straight to Imperial Cancer Research. This seemed to be a unique and popular move.

Over a decade later our original approach is no less popular particularly with the introduction of a choice of good causes to vote on, the most popular causes sharing the donation proportionally.

What the charities mean to us

Every year we try to pick a selection of good causes reflective of current events playing on the nation’s mind, covering home and abroad.
